Siesta Beach Ranks 2nd In U.S., 17th In World

Siesta Beach ranked as the No. 2 beach in the United States and No. 17 in the world for 2022, according to TripAdvisor's annual Traveler's Choice Awards Best of the Best Beaches lists.
On the U.S. list this year, the Sarasota beach ranked just behind Hapuna Beach State Recreation Area in Puako, Hawaii.
While no other Florida beaches made the top 10 on the U.S. list, Pensacola Beach took the No. 11 spot, Henderson Beach State Park in Destin is No. 12, St. Augustine Beach is No. 14, Fort Lauderdale Beach is No. 18 and Treasure Island Beach is No. 19.
At No. 1 on the world list is Grace Bay Beach in Providenciales, with Varadero Beach in Cuba at No. 2, Turquoise Bay in Australia at No. 3, Quarta Praia in Brazil at No. 4 and Eagle Beach in Aruba at No. 5.
The TripAdvisor listing for Siesta Beach calls it an "absolutely beautiful beach with silky quartz sand! Great beach for people watching, sunsets, breakfast/morning walk on beach and finding sand dollars."
