Late But Not Forgotten… Remembering 9/11
In the midst of Hurricane Irma, the significance of Monday, September 11 was almost washed away. It was difficult to focus on anything but the storm that was right in front of us. But being evacuated, power outages and concern for our homes and loved ones did not change the fact that 9/11 deserved appropriate recognition. So today we remember the events of that day, the shocking loss we endured and the way this tragedy pulled us together as a nation. In times of great crisis, the American spirit always seems to prevail…
