Junior Beach Tour Volleyball Championships

Over 430 teams will play on 60 courts in a six day span at the Junior Beach Tour Championships, which have arrived and start this Thursday, July 20-25, with the Under 14 and Under 12 Boys, and Under 16 and Under 12 Girls open and club divisions. The JBT Championships will host hundreds of teams from 12-and-under to 18-and-under at Siesta Beach.

Thousands are expected to attend the event which is open to the public. The tournament is the final stop for the Junior Beach Tour, a U.S. tour that started in January. The top three winners of each division from 90 tour locations earned a spot in the championship’s open division. Players who did not make it to the open division can play in the club division.

Admission and parking are free.

Event Schedule:

Thursday July 20 Boys 12U and 14U (Open and Club); Girls 12U and 16U (Open and Club)
7 a.m. - AM check in begins
7:40 a.m. - Player, coach and parent meeting at center court
8:10 a.m. - Players head out to assigned courts
8:30 a.m. - Games start
1 p.m. - Pool play begins to wrap up

Friday July 21 Boys 12U and 14U (Open and Club); Girls 12U and 16U (Open and Club)
8 a.m. - AM pool play begins
1:30 p.m. - 1st round Gold Division (only) playoffs - match play (if necessary)

Saturday July 22 Boys 12U and 14U (Open and Club); Girls 12U and 16U (Open and Club)
8 a.m. - Boy and Girls single elimination playoffs - All Divisions (Gold, Silver, Bronze and Copper)
12:30 p.m. - Bronze, Copper Finals
1 p.m. - Silver Finals
3 p.m. - Gold Finals

Sunday July 23 Boys 16U and 18U (Open and Club); Girls 14U and 18U (Open and Club)
7 a.m. - AM check in begins
